The following strategies are used everyday in band class.
"X Marks the Spot" - Used for marking specific musical nuances in the musical score (ff, cresc., >, etc.)
"Margin Notes" - Used to notate specific comments in the musical score (slow down, speed up, etc.)
"Think Aloud" - Used during new music performance preparation and for review.
PAS - (Preview / Access / Set) - Used during sight-reading and review
Concept Maps - Used during "Road Sign Review"
QAR - (Question / Answer / Relationships) - Used during rehearsal and during sight-reading activites
